A simple, natural way for your body to release trauma and come into balance

Using a body-led series of simple exercises to release stress, tension and trauma, TRE® safely activates the body’s natural reflex of shaking or vibrating. This process brings us out of conditioned fight/flight/freeze responses, helping to calm the nervous system and release long-held tension patterns in the body, promoting new feelings of connection and ease. 

TRE® brings us back into connection with the body as we learn to notice, respond and self regulate. In group and couple sessions it can lead to powerful experiences of co-regulation. Once learned, TRE® can become a lifelong tool for stress relief and emotional regulation.  It can help to:

TRE® is a bodywork practice that focuses on the body’s natural ability to heal itself from stress and trauma, without the need to verbalise or revisit specific traumatic events. It can be practiced in addition to Psychotherapy, as part of an integrated body/mind approach or simply as a body-based practice that does not require disclosure of sensitive trauma material.
